Committed to creative collaboration, Spectrum works with innovative performers to enrich and enliven the chamber music experience. Formed in 2008, the ensemble consists of five leading freelancers, and focuses on arrangements that augment the quintet genre through inclusion of performers not traditionally associated with brass chamber music. In Spectrum’s debut CD – Rhapsody: The Music of George Gershwin - they join forces with soprano Elizabeth Stoner, pianist Aviram Reichert, and percussionist Alex Trajano to explore the music of kindred spirit George Gershwin. Spectrum’s live shows are engaging and exciting, featuring tremendous variety combined with strong, unifying themes. With their singular focus on musical artistry and energy, Spectrum lures diverse and enthusiastic audiences to concert halls across the United States.
